We listed our house on June 1st and sold after multiple preemptive offers came in, on June 5th for 205k over asking. Our realtor Sylvia Brown was so easy to work with and we felt we were in great hands. Not only is she our realtor but she is our good friend who we completely trust. She worked around the clock all weekend and was there to answer every question we had. She is caring, considerate and so genuine and made us feel at ease through the whole process. I cannot recommend her enough as her work ethic is top notch on top of being a great person. Over the course of 2022 I got a chance to work twice with Marlon Kubes from Forest Hill Real Estate firm. Both times I was in the tenant role. First time, right at the beginning of 2022, I was very short on time to find a safe, affordable, and convenient place in under a week’s time! I stumbled on a listing by Marlon of a place that looked suitable and reached out to Marlon. He listened to what our needs were and understood our unique circumstances. He showed a few places and we went with our original choice. Marlon was able to hold an introductory Zoom meeting with the landlords and in less than a week we were able to sign the lease and move in.
Closer to the end of 2022 we were looking for a larger more central place and without hesitation contacted Marlon to locate the new dream place. This time we could afford a longer search, so Marlon showed us a few places that were good but a few times our offers were not taken until a perfect place appeared on the market. Marlon represented us in front of the other agent landlords. He guided us through collecting and providing sufficient documentation and made the process seamless.
