Haze and Lynne really came through for me in selling my home. A declining market presented a challenge, one that Haze was willing to take head-on and didn’t disappoint. His ingenuity, knowledge of the market and resourcefulness was invaluable. They got the offer that closed within 9 days. • Wrong cleaning quote. The actual cost was 45% more than the estimate. I didn’t want bother asking about this. Then it happened again. This time with the painting. The actual cost is more than 60% more. He didn’t get an approval from me before agreeing with painter. He told me to discuss with painter after the fact. When I talked to the painter, he said that he discussed with Haze before he proceeded with the work, but Haze didn’t ask me. I talked to him when I got the invoice and also talked to him after the tenant left, but he just kept blaming the painter. He said that he was going look into it, but I never heard back. In the end, I told him that I’m not happy how things turned out, and he just said “alright”. He’s supposed to get an approval from me before proceeding. I wouldn’t have approved more painting if I knew the additional cost.
• My first payment wasn’t received on time. No communication between him and accounting.
• Can’t set up appointment time. He told me 3pm, but his partner said it was 3:30. We waited at least 20 mins. My friend was mad.
• Unpaid damage. The curtain rod was damaged by the tenant, and it was replaced by a tension curtain rod that keeps coming off. His suggestion was to put it back up and that the deposit form has already been sent, so he doesn’t think he can catch it. The damaged stuff were just left at my place.
• As I start to move in, I noticed that my place wasn’t clean. He said he was going get a cleaner, but it doesn’t look like he did.

This has been a disaster from beginning to end. I hired a property manager, so that it will be less headache, but instead he gave me too much headache. I paid property management fee plus things that he can’t manage. Good thing I didn’t recommend him to people who asked me for referrals.
