NAI Goddard & Smith

NAI has been the management company for my building for a number of years, and we have had no issues with them. I am a bit confused with the negative comments regarding this company, as my experience as a long time owner and member of Strata Council, has been a positive one, particularly with Anthony Markus managing our building. He has helped us through many, many issues and in my opinion has often gone beyond his actual scope of duties to rectify a problem. He responds to our calls and emails in a timely manner, listens to our complaints and works towards finding a swift solution. He has been extremely helpful and patient, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a Property Manager.

I work with a lot of property managers in my profession. We are a large strata based service company. I work with Anthony Markus in multiple buildings and can not say enough good things about his service. I would recommend him to any council who are looking for a management change.

Update: Melissa has received both email and voicemail from me with no response in what has now been half a calendar year. Our building has been without a building manager since the end of 2022 so I can’t even contact them. There is literally nobody that I am able to contact whatsoever whom actually replies. When I have had a response in the prior 5 years, it has been unprofessional and my concerns have never once been taken seriously. I have been told direct lies multiple times and have black and white proof of it.
Completely unacceptable what goes on there.

This company is non responsive, exhibits extreme lack of commitment to any duty of care, has not responded to any of my emails, phone calls or even written letters by mail in nearly a full calendar year. Vicki Chappel has been horrendous and runs our building like a rundown BC Housing rental. The standard is that there is no standard. Disgusting

Was told that the apartment was going to be painted and the carpets replaced, that was 11 months ago and neither of those are done. The lobby leaks when it rains, the manager doesn’t shovel the stairs or the driveway to the underground parking, the lock on the side door was broken for months.
It’s the extreme lack of communication is pathetic.
