The worst property management company I’ve dealt with in my 17 years of renting. I have 7 rental properties across Canada, and management companies are amazing. Select will not respond to maintenance requests (have screen shots to prove they just close them out for multiple units), they handed us a notice saying a company is coming in for insulation in the attic. Truth? I went up there. So did another unit. And he has photos of the BLACK boards. BLACK mold. We were never told. The only reason I found out is because they were scraping for 4 hours above my bedroom while I was sleeping to prepare for night shift. They’re constantly trying to get people out to increase rent, and have zero accountability. Also, they’re straight up stupid when it comes to tenancy laws. They have no issue just coming in and out, to a point I had to put cameras in my home. It was so bad, I just made a home purchase. Worst company EVER. I cannot express enough how poorly they manage and maintain their rentals. It’s disgusting.

I’ll also add, I’ve lived here for 3 years and in that time, I have felt increasing ill. Other tenants beside me said their kids have been super sick. I think the mold had something to do with this, and I am having it investigated.

This company are not people you want to rent from.

Wish I could’ve made it 0 stars. My partner and I rent a place from them with our 5 kids. They conveniently forgot to mention that the place is for sale. ( we found the listing and noticed the realtor lock box on the gas meter ). So now we are inconveniently put out every weekend so they can do showings. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.

I had Sean Sliman as my property manager for my unit. He has been a pleasure to work with and assisted with any requests without hesitation. In the future, I would definitely reach out to him if I choose to rent out my unit again.

Can’t thank Sean and his team enough! They did a great job while using their services. Unfortunately we had a tenant that was not paying their rent and they helped us through the entire process.
