As a first-time homebuyer, what could’ve been a daunting and complicated process was instead exciting and relatively straightforward thanks for Surbhi’s expertise. From the get go, she was attentive and patient in making sure I would find the place that I felt excited about and fit my criteria. Surbhi was great at organizing viewings so that it was efficient and fit my schedule. We saw many homes throughout several months and Surbhi would provide valuable feedback on the places, always kept patient, and was quick to respond to any questions throughout all of it. It really helped with easing off any pressure that comes with buying a home. Also, I really appreciated how she ran through the entire process of buying a home and what it all involved beforehand so that I already felt better prepared when the time came.
It was such a pleasure working with Surbhi and would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about buying/selling a home. It was an exciting adventure!

First I’ll discuss our realtor, Surbhi Seru, generally, then with specifics.

All round, Surbhi was the absolute best. Throughout the sale of our apartment and the purchase of our home she was there every step of the way. She was clear, concise, and knew what she was doing. While including us in everything, she otherwise interacted on our behalf with lawyers, the other realtors, the developers, the salespeople, cleaners, home decorators, and movers. You name it, she was on it.

Specifically, her guidance on the pricing of our apartment for sale was the key to being able to close in record time (two weeks from listing to sale). She disagreed with our initial approach, explained why her pricing was a better strategy using clear market comparison points (she had charts), and she was totally right, worked like a dream. She also obtained for us an offer with no conditions and no delays, and a larger than normal deposit which put our minds at ease given the deposit we ourselves had to put down on our home to be purchased.

When it appeared TD bank, home of the useless and the craven, were failing to secure our mortgage in a timely fashion, notwithstanding ample equity and zero issues on our end, Surbhi “knew a guy who knew a guy” and within half an our of messaging her about our issues, she managed to light a fire under TD’s butt in a way that three months of our own communications had clearly failed to do. Surbhi was great. TD is a bunch of hosers.

My parents were involved in the purchase of our new home. They are not great with technology, a not insignificant problem given almost every signature that took place was digital. Surbhi probably went over to my parents’ place on six different occasions to assist them with the digital signature and explain the method behind the online conveyancing approach.

She was there on our moving day, coordinating the movers at two different locations, and assisting our conveyancer with once again, lighting a fire under TD bank (who tried to issue a mortgage draft cheque missing a zero. Christ).

Surbhi was also just a bright eyed and cheerful pleasure throughout. She gave us time when we needed it, and she moved fast when we made our decisions to go go go. Awesome.

The rented property sale was successful and took far less time than I expected. I have dealt with a few different realtors in the past 15 years and she is by far the most organized, knowledgeable, and hard working realtor I have come across. She is a professional who truly earns her commission and as a plus she is a pleasure to deal with. Even the tenant enjoyed dealing with her. I plan to use her services in the future and recommend her without hesitation.

Surbhi helped my partner and I through the purchase of our first home, and we cannot imagine having a better experience with a Realtor. From first contact, Surbhi was dedicated, 100% on the mark, and extremely knowledgeable. She is a brilliant problem-solver, a dedicated hard worker, and an incredible person who is a joy to work with. We are so grateful to have had her on our team. She worked with us to quickly identify our needs and goals, used her experience to give us valuable advice, and even turned our rationale and additional supporting information into a professional spreadsheet to help support our offer value, helping us to negotiate a fair price for our new home. When we encountered an issue with our financial institution, she helped us to communicate with them late into the night and early the following morning to solve the problem, even though this was well beyond her duty as a Realtor. Throughout the entire experience we felt secure knowing that we had a professional, brilliant, dedicated, and knowledgeable professional on our side and would not hesitate to give Surbhi our highest recommendation.
