This is the second time I have worked with Matt to purchase a home. He is trustworthy, patient and went above and beyond to assist me with my purchase. Matt and Taylor are an awesome team. So grateful for all the work they did behind the scenes to get me through my purchase. I will use their services again.

I have my fair share of dealings with real estate agents in past 30 years. Matt and Taylor are by far the best! They took their time to get to know my family and learn our needs. When helping us to look for our home, their focus was on “our needs” instead of price. They NEVER pushed us to buy a higher priced home. They provided us with honest opinions for each home we viewed and explained what worked/not to worked for my family. Matt did not hesitate to tell us either when listing prices of houses were too high for the locations/conditions. He has good knowledge of building construction. He was able to make constructive suggestions for required modifications based on my family’s needs. Taylor was always on top of making/changing appointments, answering questions and preparing necessary paperwork. She kept an eye on the houses we were interested in viewing/offering and informed us any change immediately. They also have connections in all trades related to purchasing a house such as mortgage broker, house inspector, home insurance broker… just to name a few. Buying a house is NO easy task! They sure make our life easier by providing assistant/suggestions every step of the way. We did NOT expect to get our home this fast. We were just sort of looking around… With their help, we found and purchased our home within two months. I know it wasn’t an easy job as two families (my brother’s and mine) bought the house together with separate needs. We truly appreciate their help and highly recommend them to any family that wishes to purchase their own home!

Matt was fantastic. Was always available during my hectic schedule. I did not feel any pressure from him, which was exactly what I needed given my timeline. When it came time to put an offer on a property, Matt walked me through step by step as I was a first time buyer. Highly recommended and will be going back when it comes time to purchase again.

I can honestly say that my experiences with Matt Baynton and Island Home Collective was not only the best experience I’ve ever had with a realtor, but one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had – full stop! When it comes to everything you want in a realtor, Matt easily checks every single box – patient, knowledgeable, responsive to messages, friendly, and hardworking. Matt showed us a variety of homes over the course of almost an entire year, and never once did we feel any pressure to buy something that wasn’t right for us – in fact, he would even get us to think hard about whether a place we liked was truly right for our family’s needs. Matt was only interested in helping us find the right home, and wasn’t looking to make a quick sale, which can be a stereotype for some realtors. He hired cleaners when we sold our home, had professionals make a stunning video showcasing our place, and even loaded up his vehicle with stuff on our moving day so that we were out in time for the next family to move in. Matt went way above and beyond the expectations for any realtor, so much so, that when we had to move in during a snow storm, Matt was shoveling snow with us at our new place and the moving crew commented that they had never seen a realtor shoveling snow before. Even our kids were excited to go look at houses with Matt, as he was great with our kids and even bought them Toys’R’Us gift cards as a moving gift. If you are looking for a realtor, I cannot imagine anyone being more professional and dedicated as Matt, and my wife and I give him our highest recommendation – 11/10, 5 stars, simply amazing. We are so lucky to have stumbled upon his services and would recommend him as a realtor to anyone in an instant – thanks Matt!
