They are a very professional and knowledgeable team. We bought a house from them recently and they have been more than helpful with the different things they helped us with. They worked over and above what we have expected. Very efficient group! Special thanks to Jim and Nelson for all their hard work! Do not use YVR Realty – we had an incredibly bad experience with them, where they were shady, dishonest, and concealed key information from us about the rental we would be signing. Their realtor that we dealt with, Larry Cheng, was rushing us to sign a lease for a shorter term than we’d agreed to, and on a property that actually was going to be developed very soon (which they concealed from us). When we asked regular questions about the terms and conditions of the lease (which are within our rights as tenants) they voided the lease that we were about to sign, saying that we were being “difficult” (this was after a week of talking about the agreement, and them saying it was a done deal). This honestly should be a human rights complaint – their behaviour was manipulative and exploitative of us as prospective tenants. Overall, I strongly encourage anyone thinking of using this company to reconsider and take their business elsewhere, as they are not a reputable agency whatsoever.

I strongly advise against using YVR International Realty. After a terrible experience attempting to rent an apartment with them, it’s clear that they use dishonest, exploitative practices that target young vulnerable renters. The realtor we worked with, Larry Cheng, consistently evaded disclosing important information about the property and the lease agreement by responding to our questions with vague non-answers. Larry showed up to the viewing 30 mins late in sweatpants, and failed to disclose that the owners have already applied for development permits for the property (which we found on our own after some research). After receiving a lease for a much shorter term than we had discussed, it became clear that the owners intended to renovict us less than 6 months into our tenancy. After asking Larry questions about the term of the lease in order to understand what we were signing up for, he called us “difficult” and voided the lease. Overall he was incredibly rude, dishonest and unprofessional. YVR Realty is not a reliable company and I don’t recommend them.

I am very satisfied with the service of Joe Yang at YVR International Realty. He is professional, genuine and responsive. I really appreciated Joe taking the time to understand my need and making a good effort to find the desired house I want. He went above and beyond for the purchase of my house. I highly recommend YVR International Realty and Joe Yang.
